Post-Election Audits

The Berks County Office of Election Services will conduct the mandatory 2% audit and the risk-limiting audit of the votes cast during the 2026 General Primary on Tuesday, June 2.

The Berks County Office of Election Services will conduct the mandatory 2% audit of the votes cast during the 2026 General Primary on Tuesday, June 2.  The audit will begin at 9 a.m. at 600 Penn Street, Reading, on the third floor. 

Each political party represented on the ballot will be allowed to have up to four observers at a time.  Three of the observers may also participate in the audit of the ballots, if authorized by their party and confirmed with the Office of Election Services.  Individuals interested in observing the audit should contact the local committee for their political party for more information.

Berks was also selected to participate in the statewide risk-limiting audit (RLA) of the 2026 General Primary. The RLA will also be completed on Tuesday, June 2.
