Allegheny Aqueduct/Beidler House -- 1130 Old River Road, Gibraltar

From Reading: Rte. 422 E. to exit Rte. 176. After 1/2 mile on Rte. 176, turn right onto exit 3, Rte. 724 Birdsboro & Shillington (this will be the first exit you come to). At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Rte. 724 east, towards Birdsboro. Continue for approx. 2 miles to traffic light at Rte. 568. Turn left onto Old River Rd. Continue 1/4 mile, past aqueduct, over bridge. The grist mill ruins and Beidler House are on the left.

Antietam Lake Park and Angora Fruit Farm -- Antietam Lake Park 230 Angora Road, Reading

Route 12 (Warren St. Bypass) East - Becomes Pricetown Rd. Go 1 mile to Skyline Dr., Turn right. Go 3/4 mile to fork in road and bear left onto Blankenbiller Rd.. Go approx. 2 miles to Wanner Rd. and turn right. Take Wanner Rd to the end at Angora Rd. Turn left on Angora Road. Antietam Lake is just ahead on the left.orTurn left off of Wanner Rd. onto Seidel Rd. to the end at Antietam Rd., At Antietam Rd., Turn right. Lake property begins immediately on your right.

Angora Fruit Farm - 502 Angora Rd. - From Rt. 12 E. (Pricetown Rd.): Take Spring Valley Rd. exit; turn right-continue to Hampden Blvd.; turn left onto McKnights Gap Rd.; (2 stop signs); turn left onto Skyline Dr.; continue to Bingaman Rd; turn right onto Angora Rd.; driveway on left.

Bingaman House - 2843 Hill Rd. - From Rt. 12E (Pricetown Rd.)Take Spring Valley Rd exit, turn right and continue to Hamden Blvd. Turn left onto McKnights Gap Rd. At first stop, bear right; at second stop, turn left and stay straight onto Bingaman Rd., Turn left at stop and continue on Angora Rd to Hill Rd (past main parking lot). Turn right onto Hill Rd.

Berks County Heritage Center -- 1102 Red Bridge Road, Bern Township

From Rte. 183 & 222 intersection: Rte. 183 S. to traffic light at Tom’s Mobil . Continue to next right turn onto Red Bridge Rd. (at Hoffman’s Garage.) Follow road to parking lot. (Mailing address: 2201 Tulpehocken Rd., Wyomissing PA 19610)

Berks Leisure Area/Sheeler House -- 1901 Tulpehocken Road, Wyomissing

From Reading: Rte. 422/222 Bypass, continue on Rte. 222 until Broadcasting Rd. exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right. At stop sign, turn right onto Tulpehocken Rd. Follow the road until the next stop sign (3-WAY INTERSECTION). Go straight at this stop sign. Berks Leisure will be on your left.

Gring's Mill Recreation Area -- 2083 Tulpehocken Road, Wyomissing
From Rte.222 & Broadcasting Rd. intersection: Exit onto Broadcasting Rd., turn towards PSU-Berks Campus. Follow down to stop sign at Tulpehocken Rd. intersection. Turn right onto Tulpehocken Rd. Gring’s Mill entrance is on your left. 

Red Bridge Recreation Area -- 2141 Tulpehocken Road, Wyomissing

Located on Tulpehocken Rd., Spring Twp. From Rte. 222 & Broadcasting Rd., turn towards Penn State-Berks Campus. At Tulpehocken Rd. stop sign, turn left. Park entrance approx. 1/2 mile on right.

Stonecliffe Recreation Area -- 1200 Monroe Street, Reading

Located on Columbia St., Reading. From Rte 183, turn onto Columbia St. At T-intersection, turn left onto Butler St. Follow curve to end of street.

Union Canal Bicycle/Walking Trail

Youth Recreation Facility -- 1098 County Road, Leesport

From Rte. 183 and Rte. 222 intersection: Rte. 183 N. to traffic light at West Leesport Rd. Turn left onto West Leesport Rd. Follow to stop sign. Turn right onto County Rd. Approx. .4 mile, turn left into facility at barn. Follow drive past barn (on left) to parking area.
