Welcome to Treatment Court
Mission
The mission of the Berks County Treatment Court Programs is to help people with drug or mental health problems by working together with the court system. The goal is to keep the community safe, help people take responsibility for their actions and stop repeat crimes. This program gives each person a plan that includes treatment, support, and close supervision. A judge oversees the plan, and many professionals work as a team to treat both mental health and drug problems while also keeping the public safe.
Vision
Through a collaborative and evidence-based approach, the Berks County Treatment Court programs envision a community where individuals impacted by substance use and mental health disorders are empowered to achieve lasting recovery through coordinated treatment, accountability, and support to help participants build stable, productive lives.

- “While at times the program seemed to almost be unachievable, I believe the challenges and dedication required to progress through the treatment was necessary. With the guidance of the program and support of loved ones I have not only broken free of a destructive lifestyle, but I am now enjoying a much improved quality of life that I don’t think I otherwise would be. Thank you.”
- “Thank you to everyone in this program for helping me get back onto this path of life, living and growing. Everyday sober is such a blessing and I'm so grateful I was given this opportunity to become a better man, father, and friend towards all my loved ones.”
