The selection process will include written examinations, physical fitness tests, structured oral interviews, background investigation, Computer Voice Stress Test (CVSA), Psychological Test (MMPI), Medical Examination, Drug Test, obtaining a Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms License, and obtaining CDL driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement.

Starting pay is $23.72/hr. for non-law enforcement employees and $26.33/hr. for law enforcement-trained personnel or after completing the Pennsylvania Sheriff/Deputy Sheriff Academy successfully.
