General Information

In an effort to streamline upcoming Hearings; all required documents and forms, as well as instructions in their use, are provided in this section of the website.  Adult Probation is no longer completing ARD DUI Walk-ins at this time.  Please call (610) 478-3400 to complete the ARD DUI Walk-in over the phone.

ARD DUI Rules

Defense counsel is responsible for having all the above documents sent to their clients, signed, and returned to the Court via a special email developed solely for this purpose - LillisARD@berkspa.gov. No other communication should be sent to this email address. Please direct any additional questions to Penny Cushing at PCushing@berkspa.gov and Joelle Bettenhausen at JBettenhausen@berkspa.gov in my chambers or Steve Lamp in Adult Probation at SLamp@berkspa.gov. When all the documents are collected, they should be returned to LillisARD@berkspa.gov. There should be ONE email with ALL documents for each defendant. Again, one email one defendant. If the documents are not received, your client cannot be placed on ARD.

Continuance requests should be sent to Penny Cushing at PCushing@berkspa.gov, Joelle Bettenhausen at JBettenhausen@berkspa.gov, and the Assistant District Attorney in charge of your client's case. DEFENDANT’S NAME AND DOCKET # MUST BE INCLUDED ON ALL CORRESPONDENCE.

PLEASE NOTE:  NO OUT OF COURT CONTINUANCES WILL BE GRANTED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE SCHEDULED COURT DATE UNLESS IT IS A DIRE EMERGENCY.
