Berks Heim strives to provide an ongoing program of activities that meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs and preferences of the residents with the goal of avoiding or reducing the loneliness, boredom, and helplessness which too often plagues nursing home residents. The following programs are routinely offered to Berks Heim Residents:

• Arts and Crafts
• BINGO
• Cards
• Chorus
• Exercise
• Gardening
• Movies
• Discussion Groups
• Pet Therapy
• Yarn Club
• Cooking Club
• Specialty Groups (Volunteer Musical and Dance Groups)
• Resident Council
• Worship Services
• Daily on Unit Activities (Sing-alongs, trivia games, etc.).
